Xi Delta Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi has been involved in the community for nearly 34 years. It is a social sorority that is involved in an array of activities, said member Ande Sterchi.
Beta Sigma Phi is an international women's friendship network, which was started by Walter W. Ross in Kansas on April 30, 1931, for disenfranchised women.
Museum officials asked the sorority if it wanted a display. Sterchi said the sorority was initially hesitant to do it but then felt it was an opportunity for the community to "come in and see what we do."
