I have to comment on the amount of times that we find Alpha Kappa Alpha in the news. The organization is ALWAYS in the news and it is ALWAYS about something good. I just want to send them a big congrats on doing such a great job. Now on to their latest achievement.

The coat drive is a nationwide effort by Alpha Kappa Alpha, an adult sorority. The women of Pink Elegance are trying to become the area's AKA chapter. "We have ladies who are very serious about serving the community," said Adrienne Haggins of Russett. She said the women also worked on a voter registration drive. "We have to prove ourselves."
